The bald eagle sits
in his two-ton nest
watching a man in a big red hat
playing his guitar for a cow
who is listening intently
with his black-and-white nose
almost touching
the vibrating strings, but
neither of the wild ones
know the man has chosen
to play the song called
Hallelujah to see
if he could bring
the connect-the-dots power
into the glory
forever and ever field
