night’s sleep dream dusted
morning temperature varied
vision grows proportionately
blood pressure what ever

two stories down the pub’s
neon yellow treble clef
green open red closed
signs hiss and flicker

rushing sounds
commuters in streets
up in the sky reading
subterranean staring

should I log on
ponder news and messages
or linger
take in this air of dawn
