By now I should have learned
to take matters of the heart
as momentary
but with her I found a peace
Where telling lies hid
in the heart of love
I found you
kissed your hand
To hold your
mysteries was enough
The old men say
all beauty drifts away
Being high, solitary and stern
what could she be but be
I hear that love
is the crooked thing
So I ask forgiveness
as if it is easy
I have with you
in the silence of our days
A word from the wind
for only a time
You labour to be beautiful
and now I pay attention
My task is
Endless
