Or is it the pillow,
Rumpled, crumpled,
On our bed’s far side?
The bumps look familiar
Though they aren’t snoring –
I see no head,
But she burrows.
A tendril of scent
Pulls me from beneath the pink
Comforter – coffee!
As I rise,
I smack
The pillow’s rump.
