Spinning through life
Stumbling by
The clouds are all blurry
They dizzy my mind
Faster they run
Swirling around
Life’s a great pool of colours
Turning muddied and brown
The pictures all blur
And I fall to the ground
Lying there dazed
Until I am found

This world on its axis
It spins round and round
Stopping for no one
Least that’s how it sounds
But the birds
Roost at sunset
And the tide
Ebbs and flows
The flowers,
They wither
The seasons
Come and go
In her wisdom eternal,
Mother Nature well knows
That rest always finds us
And life starts to slow
