When humans first fought
It was with their hands
Soon however
They moved to clubs and swords
But at least
Both combatants
Were at
Equal risk
Then we moved to
Bows and arrows
And
Later guns
But at least
The other team
Could
Fire back
Then we started
Dropping bombs
From
Planes
But at least
The other team
Had planes
and anti-aircraft guns
And now
We can sit
Thousands of
Miles away and
Unleash Drones
We no longer
Have to be at
Personal Risk
Or look into the
Eyes of people
We are trying
To kill
Or wonder if
Our bombs hit
A school or
A hospital
But the other
Team
Can do the same
To us!
Ain’t technology wonderful?
