Dream I dervish around morning sun
elastic circle dance seduces
whirlpools me twirls
I crash into other dancers
steal nuggets of brilliant tunes
hear babbling verse strange words
everything full of frenzy
I draw near to her fire
feel molten arms beckon
but I’m heaved away
pulled by unleashed wildness
my head swivels bobs
legs kick fly
I don’t want to wake
pray to orbit again again
feel her scorch
dizzy with acceleration

only gallop magnetic accelerando

alone in tomb of my room
trapped in a place
