The study of a grain of sand
Can be ever so time-consuming,
Can push you to the limits
Of what is possible in language,
The limits of your imagination, even.
Can one ever exist and be observed
Alone, individually
Or do we only ever exist
In relation to one another?

The sun dial holds
A different length of shadow
In its midst
Twice a day!
But love.
Love holds those grains together.
That and physics.
All of the wonderful sciences
