I arrived to prison in 1997 at the age of nineteen. My writing has appeared in a number of journals, most recently Michigan Quarterly Review, The Normal School online, and AJI Magazine (forthcoming). I have received awards from PEN America’s Writing Awards for Prisoners multiple times in various genres.
