I believe this is the
First time I’ve ever typed outside

There is something romantic
About writing on a typewriter
It makes me slow down
And think about what I’m saying
In a fundamentally different way

But outside in the fresh air
With the sun on my shoulders
The words just flow

It’s harder to keep up with my thoughts
On a manual typewriter
And there’s no spell check

The keys take much more pressure
And capitals are a pain
So I just mostly leave them out
Except for when they’re critical

Also my pinkies aren’t as strong
So I’ve become more of a hunter and pecker
Typist on a manual

My high school typing teacher would be appalled
