A deer by the stream pauses, watches
staring into the vast woodland, home.
A breeze of solitude, a wind to roam,
a distant noise, then sunlight catches
surveying eyes, nothing to fret about,
from my window, dawn’s new light.
A new journey, city lights once bright
in the night’s forest have all bled out.
Lucia has such a lovely and personal perspective which is so enchanting. wonderful poetry!!!
