When Vivaldi’s Spring plays
My heart lifts and then it’s like
Touching a bruise
We walked in
To This piece
Hearts filled with hope
Twenty-four years
We lasted –
Married
Then that hope
Evaporated
One poignant afternoon
There was another
Path in store for us
Without each other
But when Vivaldi’s spring plays
My heart lifts again
