When I practiced and
taught medicine
at Stanford Hospital
sometimes other
doctors or trainees
would ask me
to go to a patient’s
room to offer
my opinion about
what to do
or what’s actually
going on.
Continuing that
as a CEO
was a good way
to keep cred
with MDs as well
as hone skills.
Nowadays
spending a lot
of time flat
in bed myself,
grand/kids
humor me by
visiting to
ask what Coach
thinks is the
right ointment
to put on
scraped knees.
