I yearn
for the next windstorm
on a morning I’m home
for the sun’s rise
so I can see the light
dancing on the walls, floor
and know you are here
because we made
an agreement
you and I
your last day, before you left
I asked you to come to me
in the light dancing
and you nestled in deeper
purring like crazy
I took that as your agreement
