You slide in my hand
like a lost lover.
No wonder I am afraid:
such intense longing,
maybe I’ll be left behind.
They say if you rub two
together they multiply.
Or start a fire.
A card is simply
no substitute:
you should be here.
Only when I touch
can I feel truly healed.
Let me kiss you
as you go.
