The sky is yellow, the grass
blue and red. Photosynthesis
has twisted physics left
of center, stranger than
where it used to reside.
Earth so far away nothing
learned there applies anymore.

The star-bound trip here,
at the very edge of a galaxy
robbed the memory of land,
sea, air with a yellow sun.

In weeks memory and reality
weave together new neurons
that line up together, recalling
joined experiences, emotions
earned through minds not
even from this far off place.
